Everything was great and this property wonderful. A few hiccups at the end - on the day of check out, we requested a 9am wake up call, which did not happen. Then, my husband was about to enter the bathroom for a shower at about 10am (checkout is at 11am), and housekeeping walks into our room without even knocking. Very disturbing.

We checked in around 10:30 pm, room no was 316, we had ants and some cockroaches in that bathroom, so the receptionist replaced us to equivalent room on the second floor, room 212, which had a broken AC and another mobile AC that didn't work at all and made the room hot and humid so we ended up sleepless and had a horrible night. That was before my daughter soccer tournament in OC, so really bad experience that could have been prevented, because I'm the morning, we found out that we could have been moved to 5th floor to a much better room (room no. 507) with no coacroaches and a working AC.

Nice ocean and bay views. Beach was close. Restaurants in walking distance. Staff was very pleasant. Parking was great. Need to fix air conditioning and remove the temporary fix.

There is a pool and a gym so you won't get bored
The pool door wouldn't open at 10am when the pool opened. I had to go to the reception and they helped me. The pool towels were old. There were no towels at the gym... It's common sense in gyms these days to clean the gym equipment after use, but there was no paper towels.
