Radisson Blu Hotel London Stansted Airport

Stayed here for 1 night as we had an early flight from Stansted. Plenty parking at the hotel. Check in was quick and easy, though sometimes it can be a wait if busy. Rooms have everything you need. Big comfy bed. My only criticism and pet hate, is shower over the bath, but as it was only 1 night it was fine. Lovely bar area for drinks and there was a singer which added to the atmosphere. Covered walkway to the terminal, less than 5 minute walk.

Reception staff would not offer late check-out for 3 hours even though I offered to pay Radisson's standard rate. The argument 'we're full tonight and checkin is 2pm' is not at all customer friendly. It probably reveals laziness of management - look at your distribution of checkin times and you can easily predict how many hours you can reserve conservatively for paid late check-outs. To have a blanket rule loses the hotel money (and return custom). Management please get more customer focussed - I just came from radisson Tottenham court Road, which was fab.

Exactly what you want from an airport hotel. Quiet, comfortable, and right next to the terminal. If you've got an early flight, take the stress out of things.

Easy access from airport to accomodation. Also within walking distance of Stansted express which was useful. Brief overnight stay only but no issues.
