Kurumba Maldives

urumba resorts was the worse experience and honestly, I would not want to go back, and neither would I recommend anyone to take the risk, until and unless they do a thorough check on their buffet food and give us proof of health clearance. Me and my husband choose Kurumba as our one year late honeymoon destination post easing of covid restrictions. We had a three night stay at the hotel, and honestly all we did was stay in the room all day and all night because my husband got severe food poisoning from their breakfast buffet! The day we reached, he was perfectly fine! we went to enjoy breakfast, and my husband had different foods than I did, and then four hours later, suddenly my husbands condition got worse and worse, he got diarrhea and high grade fever by the night. My husband could not even hold any food in his stomach, he vomitted constantly. My husband NEVER gets soo weak, he even went to their clinic, got ivs but still no improvement. Our trip was spent seeing my husband suffer, and this was super heartbreaking. The hotel should do a thorough check on their buffet food (esp their french toasts). He is currently admitted in a hospital in Dubai for two nights, getting treatment for his severe food poisoning (claimed by doctors as per his blood samples and stool tests), and he is so weak, its unbearable for me as his wife to see. I am giving them a two star for their other good customer service, the doctor and the vibe.

Love the infrastructure and quality of the service. Staff is friendly and at par with their job. Beach side villas give you amazing experience with turquoise water right outside the room. You get uninterrupted water view from the villas. Gardens and room are well maintained.

All the staff were so great and they warmly welcomed us at the resort, the place is so amazing with many things to do, food and drinks are really good, service is the best it can be, the cleaning guys are best cleaners I’ve seen the do it fast good and are very friendly, the DJ is one off the best, always he put music’s you ask and he keep reminding then when he see you back he make sure to pley them for you, he invited us few times telling us at the night he will be there The things I would like it to be ther is, a small shop-market with different driks, chips, cookies, chocolate Etc because mini bar had just few

Rafiq, Ajeer, & Marty the Photographer were my favorite staff at the resort. Wonderful customer service. The folks at the bar double charged me id like a refund if possible.

Nice island, isolated from outside world, beautiful scenery, warm ocean water, friendly and helpful staff

it was great overall but i had to call almost every day because they left no tooth paste. I was told i could buy some at the gift shop. Not cool for a 5 star resort.

Stay was amazing. Hotel staff receive you at the airport and take you to the resort in their boat. Excellent customer service from the time you are picked up to the day of departure. Stay was comfortable, property was clean, food was good with enough choices for vegetarians as well.

Kurumba stands out for great international gourmet food, beaches, cleanliness, and the best staff around that did make a difference. I commend Tatiana, April, Sasha, Upul, Ahmed, Ismael for their dedication day to day to make Kurumba a great choice in Maldives

Very old hotel maybe 50 years old. Too close to the airport. Every 5 minutes there is a plane flying over. View is terrible as all the main islands are less than 5 minutes away. It is the cheapest 5* hotel in Maldives but i think it is more of a 4* than a 5* as lacking in every way. Food is average but 7 options but extremely expensive and portions are tiny. Breakfast like a 4* hotel don't even have any fresh juices. Stayed in the Deluxe bumglow sea facing. The bathroom was nice. Room average ants in room. Mouldy cheese in resturant. Lagging in service and quality in every way. Doesn't deserve 5* charging $150 per person return boat ride when airport is 7 mins away

We had a wonderful time during our 7 night visit at Kurumba Maldives. The resort is beautiful and it was a very peaceful and relaxing spot to vacation. The food was delicious, the staff were very attentive and many went above and beyond to make sure everything was positive. Special shout-outs to Miho the assistant manager at the Front Desk and Jinah in Recreation (snorkelling). Both of these people added to the positive memories from our trip.
