Island Cottage Inn - Adults Only

We had made reservations for the weekend which unfortunately was the same weekend as Hurricane Debby. When we called to make other arrangements (reschedule), we were given no other option but to show up, or forfeit our deposits. When we reluctantly could not arrive, they then charged our credit cards for the remaining balance. Never once did they mention this, they just referred us to the "contract"... this was extremely non-professional by allowing us to "assume" the situation, and they purposefully misinformed us of their policies. Shame on them! BUYER BEWARE!!

Wonderful location for a quiet vacation, and friendly hosts!

I stayed at the ICI for three nights (July 22nd-July 25th). I was looking for a peaceful place on the beach for my “Eat, Pray, Self-care” retreat. This was the perfect place with the perfect hosts & great service. The beach is literally across the street. The cafe is adorable and offers a delicious continental breakfast. My room was spacious, clean, and extremely comfortable—the bed & pillows were the best I’ve ever slept on. I plan to make this an annual trip. It’s far enough from the “city” to feel like a getaway but close enough to drive to in about an hour.

Everything was amazing and the lady in the cafe was incredibly polite and courteous! Thank you!

The stairs were a little tricky for 70 year olds. Once we were in the room, it was spectacular! Would do it again! Perfect Birthday get away.. Thank you

Pleasant and inviting place to stay. Room and public areas were clean and nicely kept. Quite and relaxing, very nice private beach. Perfect place for a relaxing get away.

The hosts were wonderful! It’s great as a pet ‘parent’ to find a place this beautiful and friendly to large dogs, well stay here every time we return to Flagler Beach!

Very nice property. Good restaurants close by. They have chairs and umbrella for the beach. The pool temperature was perfect and comfortable lounge chairs. We stayed 3 nights and would go back again.

I was in need of a mini Eat. Pray. Love. retreat and Island Cottage Inn turned out to be the perfect place. The rooms are modern, bright, and well decorated. I could have happily set in my room the whole time. The property also has multiple cute spots to sit and read. It’s small enough that there was plenty of privacy. When I did come across other guests, they were very kind and many were repeat guests, which says a lot about a property. The beach is just a few steps away and often I was the only person there, just me and the ocean. The inn provides really nice chairs, towels, and umbrellas that are easy to carry over with you. It’s easy to walk up and down the beach or the sidewalk up above. I walked into the cute town everyday. There are plenty of restaurants, churches, and coffee shops. It’s also easy to drive everywhere and with assigned parking spots, you don’t have to worry about finding a place when you get back. The town is friendly. Everyone nodded and said hello, and I felt safe everywhere I went. I was surprised that there is also a lot of site-seeing to do in the area - nature trails, unique terrain and such. I can't recommend this place more for solo travelers or couples who are looking for a clean, safe, quiet, and modern place to stay and explore.
