Check in was smooth, rooms great size plenty of room to move around super clean and beds comfortable. Breakfast was good many options for foods and juices . They also have a small slot machine room and a spa

"Don't drink from the carafes!"

Although the location was great, we unfortunately did not enjoy our stay. The staff was great, friendly, and helpful. The room was outdated, which wouldn't have been a problem, if it weren't for the poor ventilation/humidity in the room that led to a musty smell, the shower curtain rod that was falling out of the wall, and the fact that we had to ask for hand soap for our bathroom and our bed linens weren't replaced while we were there. We also found there weren't many options for breakfast and, sadly the coffee tasted spoiled and the hot water carafes had black specks coming out with the hot water for tea (we had told a member of the hotel staff and they did offer us new water, but I didn't trust the cleanliness of the facility at that point). Sadly, not a place that made us feel we could relax and we will not be returning.

Check in and staff friendliness

Breakfast a little smaller than some other hotel chains. Bathroom fan is on same switch as lights thus cool air is always moving when you take a shower or bath and this is uncomfortable.

"Perfect Getaway"

Our mini moon getaway was perfect at the Wyndham. We had an amazing room with a fireplace and a jacuzzi. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub and were able to get away to downtown Galena to enjoy a nice meal. Gian was so friendly and I really enjoyed working with him.
