Grand Hotel Belvedere, a Beaumier Hotel

Perfect spot and newly renovated building in Wengen. Would highly recommend!

The staff went above and beyond to create a wonderful experience- complete with a breakfast bag the morning of departure for the train ride back to the airport Once the grounds are landscaped for summer it will be an absolute oasis

Very family friendly experience. Staff are very professional and kind. The restaurant offers a lot of creative vegan options. The design of the hotel is exceptional.

Our extended family has been going to Wengen for over 50 years and whilst Wengen has many charms, luxury hotels was not one of them... This upgraded Belvedere has changed that. Our stay was excellent, with great accommodation, friendly and efficient service, great menus and food and I am sure that once the rest of the hotel opens it will become one of the if not the premier hotel in Wengen... The other hoteliers will need to take notice! Looking forward to return

What an amazing time we had during our stay at this hotel! Rooms were warm & cozy, the hotel is beautiful and the staff is really super nice and kind. We really felt pampered! Bravo Beaumier for this successful opening, I could only recommend the place +++

We had a wonderful 5 night stay at this beautiful hotel. The room was spacious and well equipped, with wonderful views of the nearby Jungfrau. We ate dinner in the restaurant on 3 evenings - food was delicious (slightly too salty for our liking but still delicious). The service throughout the hotel and restaurant was brilliant. Always polite and professional and always with a smiling face and eager to help. I could mention some individuals by name, but that would be unfair on the others, who all did a great job. As a final point, we were fully aware when we booked that the pool and spa were not yet open; the hotel had a reciprocal arrangement with another local hotel, which we took advantage of, so all good. And the location of this property is perfect; literally a 5 minute walk to the ski lift.

My husband and I stayed at this property for one night and loved every minute of our stay. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The views were incredible! Our room overlooked the mountains and the Lauterbrunnen Valley so it was a wonderful view. I wish I had more time to stay longer.

We were excited to visit this hotel recently praised in an article in the Times of London. Unfortunately they are going to have to make some signficant changes if they want to deserve a 5 star rating. The staff were excellent. Friendly and knowledgeable. No complaints. The cocktails were ok but the spritz was mostly ice and hardly any cocktail. We were seated in a fairly plain and soulless restaurant. I am a tall person and the bench was too short for me to reach my food. One order of fish and chips was 90% batter and tasted off. He had to ask for tartar sauce which was served in a thimble sized container. If someone else had not been paying he would have sent it back. The shared schnitzel was greasy. The main course salad was hardly worth serving and at over 30Fr. was embarrassing. We thought the dessert menu looked interesting but the desserts were laid out on a buffet with no covers and looked tired and sad. The restaurant was not that busy and it took ages for our order to be taken. The hotel has only recently opened, but if they are going to depend on good reviews to attract clients they are going to have to significantly improve the quality of the food. By the way, we have numerous friends who have gone to the restaurant and most give it a thumbs down. We hope they improve because Wengen needs more good quality restaurants. But for now we won't be returning.

This place is an overpriced rip off. The rooms are tiny. At night can’t turn the light on in the bathroom without light coming into bedroom because of the window between the two. The website shows pictures of a grand hotel and a pool and a spa but none of that is there. I will never go to a Beaumier hotel again.

I was explicitly welcomed by almost all of the members, everything from checking in to checking out goes so smooth and amazingly swift.
