OYO Hotel Portage I-94

Lost cool points booking here, there’s a sign that says OYO coming soon so hopefully it gets fully remodeled whenever it does come cause this isn’t it. lobby smelled like cats. Was me, my friend and our kids. Originally was supposed to be in 202 it had stains on the carpets, and box spring looked like it had a blood stain on it, bathroom the tiles on the floor were dirty and coming up. So got moved to room 204 still had stained carpet and the bathroom tiles were dirty looking and so was the tub. And the window looked like someone tried to break in at one point in time Stains on the bedding. Breakfast options was cereal or Activia yogurt. It’s behind a bar which is fine but there’s no signs showing that it’s back there

Not busy, lots of parking space, decent room

Lack of signage, hotel shows “oyo hotel coming soon” so wasn’t sure if it was actually open at first

There were people lurking around the parking lot plus you could see some broken window blinds and dirty curtains. In addition the parking lot was poorly lit. We felt so unsafe that we kept driving and found another hotel. I totally wasted my money because it was too late to cancel my reservation.

Zimmer ausreichend groß, Bett bequem. Dusche funktionierte gut.

Empfang dauerte sehr lange, die Dame war leicht überfordert, im Tonfall aber sehr harsch. Im Zimmer lag schon im Eingangsbereich Dreck von einem Vorbewohner. Die Bettwäsche wirkte nicht frisch... Keinerlei Duschgel oder Shampoo vorhanden. Toilettenpapier auf der Rolle war fast aufgebraucht und keine Ersatzrolle vorhanden.
