First time in Des Moine and I would not stay here if I ever come back. Room is tired and bad. The bathroom is easily the tiniest bathroom I’ve ever had in a hotel. It is at least clean. But the hands down worst part of this hotel is the bed. The mattress might as well be made of wood. I’m a bigger guy and there is just absolutely no give to that mattress. It’s only slightly softer than the floor. Service was subpar as well. My room failed to get serviced and when I called down to get it serviced, they offered to bring me up more towels. No I want my room serviced. Never happened. This is a $80/night hotel at best and it’s criminal they are charging more than double that.
