Super 8 by Wyndham Wells

The hotel is an older one, and could use some updating. The reception/check in lady was hard to understand and English was not her native tongue. The room itself was nice and clean.

This joint is out of a horror movie. Truly. Stay clear. Go next door to the Motel 6. Worse motel experience I have ever had. Filthy rooms and common area, completely rude and uncaring staff. Questionable “guests” that appear long term hanging around the back. Creepy.

Great place to stay. Squeaky clean and massive large rooms. Staff was really friendly and helpful Wonderful being convenient to on and off the freeway but not a bit of traffic noise in the room Would certainly recommend this one to stay at in wells nevada

The gentleman that checked us in spoke very little English and was RUDE! He was mad that the computer didn’t have my credit card number on file and walked off! A lady came out of the back area to finish checking us in.

The ptoperty and staff were great. We would stay there again.

For a night stay I wasn’t expecting anything lavish. But there washroom was not clean. Check-in service, bed condition, amenities and parking were excellent.

Clean, still work going on to remodel so rooms will be getting improved ( some already were), very good breakfast included

Old room, sweltering hot room and fridge upon entering, toothpaste all over sink. It was fine for a night, though rather overpriced. Breakfast was fine, I guess. Not great, not terrible.

Pros: Right off the freeway in a pretty remote area without a whole lot of other options (in other words, glad it's here!). Front desk staff were nice. Room was big, with a lot of open space. Microfridge present. Mattress was comfortable with plenty of pillows. Price was a lot cheaper than comparable options in Elko and Wendover on a Saturday night (casinos tend to inflate prices on weekends). Cons: Internet is very unstable, I'm sure partly because of the remote location. It's fine for checking email, but not much else. Breakfast was the standard Super 8 fare: Waffles, some bread, coffee, and like 2 cereal options. There are a LOT of maintenance issues. Toilet didn't flush properly and sink drained slow. Lots of screws, anchors, and other fixtures on the walls from furnishings long since departed. (Just take out the hair dryer holder if you don't have a hair dryer). AC worked well, but because it was in the back of the large room, it took several hours to cool (and they didn't have it on ahead of time, despite temps in the 90s). The floor in front of the sink felt like it was about to cave in. The shower was also quite claustrophobic and looked like something out of the Bates Motel. (Also, anyone over like 5' 8" will have to duck to take a shower). I took a pic of the shower for reference. Bottom Line: It was fine for a quick overnight stay when it's cheaper than options in Elko or Wendover. But look elsewhere first, and don't depend on this for more than one night.

Was happy with this small little motel off the highway. Was looking for something cheap, pet-friendly, and off the highway so i could continue my drive to some national parks easily. Hotel is older and you can tell, but the rooms were clean and appealing and comfortable. Felt safe in the motel lot (which isn't always a given in motels on the side of the roads). Front desk staff were extremely kind and pleasant. For a cheap safe night on the road to your destination, it was a suitable motel
