Champlung Sari Hotel and Spa Ubud

Wonderful experience, excellent hotel. Our room was spacious and clean, with comfortable bed and pillows. The patio in front of our room was inviting and relaxing, and the occasional monkey visit added to the charm of the place. It felt like living at a temple. The staff is so welcoming, warm and friendly! They are always genuinely smiling and very helpful. You see them always working on something around the resort, tidying something up, they do a great job at maintaining the place. Over our week-long stay, we needed help with various administrative tasks, and they were always eager and willing to help. The room was cleaned and towels were changed every day. We always had our own mosquito protection, and the bed also had mosquito nets, but we actually saw very few mosquitoes around. We felt safe and sound all through our stay, which made it all the more relaxing. The breakfast buffet was very good, with a nice variety. I was happy to have an egg station, salad, veggies and fruit. Apart from that, there were also cold cuts, fried rice, curries and noodles, pastries, so plenty of choices. Not to mention, good Balinese coffee. The breakfast staff was fantastic, it is wonderful to start the day with good food and warm, friendly yet very professional people. Special thanks to Putu and her team: Yande, Rahayu, Adit, Fiska, Citra and Wira. The resort has two pools, and the pool areas are beautiful, very well-kept and inviting. The hotel's location is very good, in walking distance to all Ubud attractions, restaurants and cafés, yet very quiet, thanks to the proximity of the Monkey Forest. A clear recommendation, we would be happy to stay here again!

Nice lady at reception was extremely professional and helpful. Her name is Darma. Reception and pool and dining area are well kept and have a good impression. Rooms are run down and need a coat of paint and maintenance.

Room’s are run down. I was lucky to be moved to a better room. First room was terrible
