"A lovely heritable hotel in the middle of Mysore"

We stayed for 2 nights at The Royal Orchid Hotel. The location was perfect for us near the train station (we travelled by train from Bangalore), and within walking distance from the old market and Mysore Palace. The hotel dinner was excellent with many food options to choose from. We had a heritage suite, which was also excellent and refreshed with towels and toiletries several times each day. All staff were friendly, caring and attentive to our needs. A special thank you to the staff, including: Ravi, Shiva and Narayan to name a few, but really to everyone at the hotel who made our trip so memorable.

We rated the hotel an overall eight out of ten because the breakfast was a little disappointing and the complementary high tea turned out to be a free single cup of tea or coffee.
