Clean & tidy. We had a modern room with a comfortable Queen bed. Air conditioning unit extremely noisy, but cooled OK. Nice small swimming pool.

We stayed 6 nights over Christmas, which wasn’t a cheap exercise! What was frustrating was that the room only has 2 nights worth of things like loo paper, laundry liquids, washing liquids and shampoo conditioners etc. After that you had to pay for more. Having paid premium rates, it would have been nice to have been given 6 days of product! Those little things make a difference. Apartment has no beach excess at all, which is a bit of a pain. No where handy to gain beach excess either, other than the walk into Byron itself. A pleasant pool to use though.

Der Pool war klein aber schön und zum Erholen. Das Zimmer war sauber und hatte neben einem Wasserkocher, einen Kühlschrank und eine Mikrowelle. Der Besitzer war immer hilfsbereit .

Die Lage war recht ok, das Zentrum von Byron Bay ist 10 min zu Fuß entfernt und es gab eine Tiefgarage für das Auto.

Es gab leider keinen Zimmerservice, außerdem mussten wir das Apartment am Ende unseres Aufenthaltes putzen und den Müll rausbringen, sodass keine Putzgebühr von 30 Dollar verrechnet wird. Für den Preis dieses Apartments ist das sehr enttäuschend. Es gab keine Kaffeemaschine im Zimmer, und es wurde auch kein Duschgel im Zimmer bereitgestellt. Der Preis war zu hoch für das was geboten wurde. Wir haben während des ganzen Aufenthalts nie ein Personal angetroffen, auch während der Rezeptionszeiten war teilweise kein Personal da. Self Check in lief problemlos, wobei ich den persönlichen Kontakt bevorzuge.

We loved the BBQ area above the pool. We cooked there every day. In general, I would say the hygiene and cleanliness standards were good. The pool was a bit cool for the week we experienced, but the hot tub was good, even if it was a bit sharp on the edges. It was relaxing and we enjoyed it most nights. The location was great. Just a short walk to town. I liked the angles of the room and the degree of privacy we felt. The ceiling fan was wonderful. The AC/heater worked nicely too. The dimmer for the lights allowed us to set our moods. The TV didn't function all that well, given we had to have our own subscription accounts to watch anything. That was disappointing.

The BBQ area had a bottle of stinky hand soap that someone used to wash the hotplate. That meal tasted funky, and I tasted the soap on my tongue for hours! Maybe do bother providing that next time. There was a lighter to use, but it requires lighting a piece of twizzled paper to ignite the flame, as the sparker had died. The wine opener was busted. The chairs in the room need so anti-slip matting under the bottom pad, as the cushions just slid right off (as you say on them) in about a minute flat. It meant that they were essentially unusable, and quite uncomfortable. The bed was OK, but the way the bed was made was weird. I don't suspect they will change it, but it meant you really had to remake the whole bed each day, as the sheets came loose.

Great location, comfy beds, staff very friendly and helpful! Pool was good for a dip too
