Sagebrush Inn & Suites

Always enjoy the Sagebrush.

We went for breakfast at the Sage Brush restaurant @ 7am. We were greeted by a waitress and she told the cook didn't show but there was another cook said there would be fill in. She said it would be about a 15-minute wait she offered us a free coffee. I don't know her name but she was so very pleasant and working so hard to serve everyone. We were so impressed with her service. Please forward this message to management at Sage Brish.

I felt that it could the grounds could have been a little more neat and clean.

The staff is friendly and the room is clean. Too bad there are not some upgrades to this hotel, as it is rather quaint. The carpet is very old and kind of smelly. Needs new paint and some updates. Too expensive for the condition.

I liked the character of the property, and the available grass areas in the courtyards. I liked the rooms came with refrigerators. I also like that there were things to do on-site, such as go to the bar and restaurant and listen to live music.

My room was dirty. There were stains on the wall on this wooden piece that looked like it was built as a little door to access something behind the shower, maybe the pipes. But the wood cover was not built the best and there's a small hole that creeps me out. Also that wooden piece had brown stains like something was dripping down. The carpet was torn to shreds at the entry to the bathroom, which if you are going to charge the pet fees, I think it's reasonable to say those pet fees are not going to the repairs of the room from damage from previous dogs. I did have a pet friendly room, but it still should have been clean and carpet repaired. The light fixtures in the bathroom had brown staining, not sure what that was about. And there's was hair on the shower walls. Not the biggest deal so I just rinsed the hair down the drain, but just walking into the room it did not feel clean so I was hyper aware of things to try and make sure I didn't touch anything that was dirty. Not a pleasant feeling. Lastly, there was a wedding ceremony rehearsal and wedding going on in the courtyard both nights I stayed, so I didn't feel comfortable taking my dog to potty in that area, luckily they have the other courtyard a few steps away, but hotel guests were sitting on the chairs watching right in the middle of the walkway which is annoying when you just want to get your things out of your car and not have to ask someone sitting on the walkway to get up from their chair and move. The noise from the people above me was extremely loud. I would not recommend staying on the first floor. It sounded like they were moving furniture up there and lots of creaking on the ceiling when the people walked. It's just an old building.

Booked for the fire place and hot tub. Tub was advertised on the bill board, neither worked. TV was 1980s level. Avoid.

The bathroom floor was dirty. Also, the stairs up to the second flooor were very steep.

Property looks appealing from the road.

The property is scary old inside. There are cracks in the windows and bugs will get in. There were a few bugs on the bed. Staff reassured me they don’t bite, just pesky! What? I did not know I was getting a murphy bed as a second bed. If you call the office, no one answers. Microwave was broken. No water bottles in room. Ice machine across the courtyard. Can’t use fireplace.
