Kangaroo House B&B on Orcas Island

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast and coffee setup were AMAZING and the hosts were just so welcoming and nice. The room was very clean. Only issue was the beds were uncomfortable but if you like a firm bed, you’ll be great. Would highly recommend!!

Charles is an amazing host and a really cool and interesting person. We had such a wonderful stay! There were so many thoughtful touches- the quaint little hot tub setup, cozy bathrobes, awesome tea selection, sweet library, and OMG the breakfast was out of this world!

This was the nicest BNB I have visited! The house and room were exceptional. The house was in excellent repair (no wear and tear at all). None of the musty smell most older homes have. The room was beautiful and well designed. Breakfast was excellent. The hosts were very helpful. All in all an excellent stay.

Lovely property, short walk to beach access, short drive to downtown Eastsound. Charles & Jill are friendly and accommodating, and prepare a truly special breakfast. highly recommend.

The Kangaroo House is a real gem for those who want a quintessential B and B experience. Jill and Charles were exceptional hosts. Beautiful setting, DELICIOUS breakfasts and excellent service on all levels. Highly recommend!

Jill and Charles were amazing hosts! Their rapport with us was established well before even meeting them as we navigated the intricacies of ferry travel. They shared the history of the inn after one of their decadent breakfasts and offered must-sees as well as less traveled routes. After the glut of the Air BNB phase, these two and their lovely cottage were a welcome respite to the traditional B and B.
