St Francis Inn

Beautiful, unique, historic inn. Everything from our room to the delicious breakfast and evening desserts was exceptional. Very convenient to shops and restaurants. Highly recommend this as a place to stay.

The garden area is gorgeous, the inn itself is so comfortable and quaint.

This property provided a comfortable and convenient way for us and another couple to enjoy a day/night in St Augustine (STA) and see STA's fireworks over Mantanza. The check in at the Inn was easy and the information on getting to the house we stayed in were concise. We took advantage of Social Hour, Dessert and Breakfast and enjoyed them all. They were able to accommodate my wife's food with advance notice. Lots of other amenities we were not able to take advantage of but it was quite extensive with bikes, pool, free/discounted entrances, and garden. This definitely was a pleasant and worthwhile stay.

The bed in our room was a bit high, so it was kinda hard to get into. The mattress was too soft for me. It would be good if they could let people know before choosing a room, which rooms had a firm or soft mattress. I didn't like the hot breakfast option because of their offering for our particular stay/day, but I did enjoy the cereal and the fresh fruit.

We had a great time. The staff was friendly and informative. Great amenities like free parking, breakfast, dessert, social hour, and if you stay at the beach cottage or bungalow they provide you with beach chairs and towels. Whether you stay at there beach locations or the bed and breakfast in the historic downtown you will love it. Were trying to figure out our next trip.

The staff was extremely friendly, excellent customer service. Loved that they had something all night long. Social hour, home made desserts. Loved it and would recommend it to all my friends and family. Will definitely stay again.

Warm. Friendly. Inviting. Historic. Even surreal and transcendent. There's an overwhelming sense of historic immersion whilst visiting the beautiful city of St Augustine and as you walk along the cobblestone-laiden narrow street approaching the St Francis Inn, being invitingly hugged by the shade provided by ancient trees adorned with Spanish moss, reaching down to greet you, you already know you're in for a treat. We were treated very well, not just by staff, but by patrons as well. Being my first experience staying at a historic bed and breakfast, there was a lovely sense of community and sharing, whether it was a beer or a touching story, you're there, together. The experience surpassed my expectations. Constant states of wonder, adventure, and romance leave you wanting more. I could ramble on about our room, the slew of amenities, the food, the bedsheets, but I won't. For me, it was the opportunity for a deep, connective reset. To almost have the lines between what once was and what now is, blurred. The St Francis Inn provides far more than a place to sleep and a free cookie. It provides an experience that, if you allow it to, enriches your very soul.

Lovely stay in a historic inn. Beautiful property within walking distance to most attractions. The staff was excellent. We enjoyed having our breakfast in the courtyard, in the evening you could also gather for s’mores at the fire pit. Or just an adult beverage.

Great location in historic St. Augustine. Staff is super friendly.
