It Felt like home and there was a lot of room for the kids

The property is beautiful with a lovely patio, and great kitchen if you need to cook. Very clean and beautifully furnished in the common rooms. Our bedroom was pretty small for a couple and the mattress was soft and noisy. We could not re-position without waking the other. Check in instructions were wrong and, thankfully, the property owner was on site to show us to our room which was not the one we had been directed to in the instructions.. Also, would recommend the housekeeping and check in procedures be sent before guests leave home. Also, please add that hair dryers are not provided, as we had none with us.

There was no one to greet us upon our arrival even though we had emailed the exact arrival time. Access to our room was not possible because the key that was supposed to have been left in the lock was not there.We attempted to call the staff person whose number we had been given but this did not work because there was no cellphone service in the inn's area. After driving six miles down the road we reached a cell service area and were able to speak to a staff person who did not seem to know who we were but told us that if we returned to the inn we would be met by one of the inn's owners who would have the key to our room. We did return and our key was handed over to us but the fact is that all of the effort that this required took about an hour of our time. Why are people in the hospitality business if they are not prepared to be hospitable? Our bedroom - the master suite - was very nice and very clean but it was not the room we signed up for through Expedia. The day before our arrival we were notified that our accommodations had been upgraded. We were not given any opportunity to discuss or okay this. If this upgrading results in a higher fee for the night, I will see the owners in court. Apart from the quality of our room itself, this was a very unpleasant place to spend a night. There are many rules and regulations - and warnings! There is a separate charge for the use of sheets and towels! The latter makes the place feel more like a camp than an inn. Never again.

The hotel is deffinetly a ski lounge. Bed was very firm and tv was listed as flat screen. The hotel had maybe a 10" old style tv in the room. You can not reach them via phone. Personally wouldn't be my first choice in the area especially for the price.

Excellent! Peaceful and beautiful

This is not a hotel, but inn/large home that's usually rented out as a whole to large groups (e.g. weddings, family reunions) so there are not your typical hotel services--which was fine with us! We were lucky enough to get a room when they were between bookings. Amazing place with fireplace and really convenient.
