I booked this hotel for a 4 night stay in November 2010. Was really impressed with customer service before arrival- all emails replied to within 24 hours and in good English. The hotel arranged a car to meet me at the airport. (Would definitely recommend this as taxis are a complete rip off, and a complicated journey by public transport!) We were offered champagne on arrival, had a lovely room and the staff were really helpful and attentive. And they spoke good English. (this was a bit of a rarity in St P) Hotel staff very keen to help in any way. Let us use the business centre to use their computer. Also had a good range of foods for breakfast. We were located just off Nevskiy Prospekt, so close to all shops and not far to walk to centre of city. Lots of reasonably priced places to eat nearby- a wide variety of restaurants and cafes. Close to 2 metro stations and lots of decent shops. I really couldn't fault this hotel in any way, and would thoroughly recommend it.

This is a comfortable, classy, quiet hotel in a good location. The staff are friendly and speak good English. The included breakfast was first class, and a bedside chocolate in the evening was a nice touch.

The hotel was delightful - very pleasant, quiet rooms and extremely helpful staff. Breakfast was extremely good and hotel located close to metro but also walkable to the center.

the room where I stayed needed obviously some minor repair and also some members of the personnel could be still more friendly and better trained :) But in general the hotel makes quite positive impression - it is comfortable, the interior is artistic and fashionable, the location is very convenient - close to the historical centre, shops, restaurants, etc. The price was quite reasonable for July and, finally, the breakfast was just excellent.

The hotel's location is quite good, rooms were nice as well. The quality was set in accordance with price.

Really nice hotel. Champagne on check-in, always willing to help. Great breakfast, room was nice if not a touch warm. Great location, near everywhere. Recommend using the hotel car; they organised our transfers to/from airport and a few excursions which were well priced, plus its really hard (and unreliable) getting a cab.

Breakfast is served in Dostoyevski Restaurant. The quality and the service beyond comparison. Excellent!!!

Great location, right off Nevsky Prospekt. The hotel was clean and nice, but compared to European standards, definitely not five stars.
