"Excellent"

The room I was originally assigned had water all over the bathroom floor, and the ceiling light was leaking. I tried to call the front desk on the phone in the bathroom, but it did not work. I had to use the phone by the bed. I packed up all my things and went back downstairs to be given a new room and an apology. I was also given breakfast passes for the inconvenience, which was nice.

Very comfy hotel near all the main sites in Newark, DE. Quiet, clean and I really appreciated the restaurant and bar on-site. Will definitely be back!

"They changed my reservation without telling me"

I booked a 2 Queen bed room and they switched me to a room with 1 King bed and a fold out couch that sleeps 1 person. They didn't tell me I was switched, I just found out when I checked in. They have special, additional rules for families who are there for youth sports tournaments. You aren't allowed to bring in any alcohol, you have to buy at the hotel bar which is just plain nonsense. The front desk blames it on the University of Delaware running the hotel.

Liked the home like feel of the room. Did not like having to go downstairs to pay for water since there was none provided in the room. I expected free water would be included for the price.
