Uitzicht uit kamer niet top. Geen v d twee tv s werkte echt. Bedlamp deed het niet. Ontbijtbuffet niet geweldig.

Well presented clean and modern

Our room was close to the road into the docks wagons sounding horns 6 am. Given a choice would stay well away fro the road Our room did not get cleaned after first night

The staff were very welcoming especially those on reception. They and the reception area met Marriot standards. The room given was excellent, the views of the bay and the bathroom had everything that was needed. A special mention in the restaurant for Monique who served us. The menu was varied and the wines excellent. ( we live in a wine country) . Moinique's smile helped to accept the long wait for food. The hotel car parking was secure.

It seemed that the kitchen was struggling to keep up with the orders and so it took almost 1 hour to receive the first course which was a small 2 gambas creation. After explaining/ complaining to the restaurant manager, the service improved. The hotel was close to the harbour and so there was noise in the night from heavy lorries ascending the hill.

We loved this hotel. A bit of luxury in the middle of a very long tour. The staff without exception are very friendly and helpful. A smile goes a long way. The room was very comfortable and modern. The Gannet Restaurant lived up to its reputation and our expectations. We had lovely views over the Bay and the working Harbour.

No complaints from us. All good news.
