No insulation or air conditioning, uneven stairs, host was pushy, noisy

Very nice and pleasant stay and people who run it. Warm shower and comfortable beds, all clean and there is a kitchen with the view over the city. Parking behind the house in a big yard. Worth it!

Good value, good location overlooking town centre but not near noisy bars. Helpful host. Small practical touches in rooms, like enough sockets for once, and two fans (cool enough in December). Guest kitchen with included coffee for machine. Reasonably secure parking. Onsite car rental and mechanic might prove useful to some. We'll be back.

Some of the staff reluctant to use card machine and ask for cash only - Mr Matus himself is fine with CC. Back steps very slippy in rain. Car park is also rather slippy in rain, and sloped, have to park motorcycles very carefully. Our room was a bit cramped because there was an extra single bed as well as a double (more good value though!). Not a complaint: There is potentially a guest social area, perhaps that's an easy improvement?
