Gretna Hall Hotel

Central location

Room had no air conditioning. Double bed was two single beds pushed together. Extremely uncomfortable and had little sleep because of this. Had a sore back each morning when getting up. No single sheet to lay under and only a duvet in the middle of a heatwave. Went down for dinner before 8pm and were told it had finished early. Supposed to serve until 9. Room service knocked on the room at about 15:15 when we were attempting to catch up on some sleep. We told them we were in bed but they knocked again about a minute later. Sink in bathroom took a age to empty. For nearly £160 per night we were seriously disappointed. Never is it a 4 star hotel!!!

Convenient location and has EV chargers. Hotel is aesthetically impressive from the outside.

EV charger parking not controlled and non EVs parked there even though other spaces were free. Popular wedding venue so lots of guests and noisy in to the night. Food in restaurant wasn't great, its was not much above a Weatherspoons but charging premium prices. Rooms are reasonable but fairly basic.

Chambre confortable et très propre. Dîner très bon, même si on aurait apprécié des portions un peu plus importantes. Petit-déjeuner pas encore découvert.

The description on Booking.com of our room was incorrect so we were disappointed with the bed size. However this didn’t ruin our stay 🙂

Paid a lot of money for a Deluxe Double and it was very small no Ac poor service from staff at Breakfast almost like they were doing you a favour re filling empty food bowls

Beautiful surroundings, hotel lovely, staff helpful.

Booked room with a bath, got a shower. Big orange stain on carpet which I noticed was on a previous review, just not what we expected for the price. Food not that good either . Disappointing
