Great location, pool area clean. Good size. Seemed pretty clean. Suite size was good.

Elevator issue (doors don’t close for about 45 seconds), cleaning not like a regular hotel - only available every 48 hours but must let them know 24 hours in advance so meh. Must let them know you need extra sheets towels even though we booked for x amount of people - why not have the appropriate amount in the room since you collect this data? No security - people coming in off the street can go directly into the (unlocked, no key tap needed) elevator or even the stairs without being seen by front desk. Also, only mirror in the suite was in the bathroom so forget trying to say, put on make-up or see your outfit while someone’s in the bathroom. Why not get a cheap back of door mirror for each room, couldn’t cost more than $20 per room.

Deram-nos um quarto no piso da recepção, mesmo em frente à porta de entrada do hotel. A sanita entupiu e em vez de nos ajudarem deram-nos um desentupidor para sermos nós mesmos a fazê-lo. O quarto estava pouco limpo, com ferrugem e não era confortável nem acolhedor. Tinha cheiro a mofo.

Location was great. Rooftop pool was nice.

Room was directly behind front desk. Could hear guests and staff throughout the day/evening.

Faltou alguns itens na cozinha, como tampas de panela, mais utensílios para cozinhar, bucha e sabão para lavar louças.

Location and comfort

While the bed was really comfortable, it was also really high off of the ground. I had a very hard time climbing in to it.

I ended up with a multi-room king suite that had a balcony. It was gigantic. The bed was very comfortable. The little balcony had a table and two chairs and I could catch a glimpse of the Atlantic Ocean over the palm trees. Some of the original art deco details remain inside. The bathroom was decent and had a tub. Large walk-in closet with a safe. Enormous sitting area that included a full size refrigerator, sink, microwave and cabinets. The front desk staff was exceptional. They let me park my car behind the hotel when I was checking out and the gentleman printed some documents I needed for an upcoming Caribbean cruise.

Ocean Boulevard was closed to vehicular traffic. I couldn't use valet parking. Had to park on 7th Street briefly under the scrutiny of a security guard and tote my luggage into the hotel, then self-park in the 7th Street. deck. The elevator is excruciatingly slow. My balcony door wouldn't lock. There is no maintenance staff on site. The clerk cut a piece of PVC pipe to length so I could jam the sliding door. The rooftop pool is pretty nice but I couldn't help but wonder when it was last serviced. The terrace was pretty dirty and needed a cleaning. There was evidence of a prior bar on the roof, and a gas grill. I was disappointed that the restaurant and bar on the first floor are no longer open.
