Samui Bayview Resort & Spa

Most of the staff were friendly but not very helpful, breakfast staff couldn't even understand what kind of eggs you wanted. Only knew the word omelette and the buffet dishes were almost always empty. The room was nice and clean but the shower barely had any pressure and wouldn't stay warm more then a minute. View was nice and so were the pools if you didn't mind getting around in the dark. When we asked to have the shower fixxed they tried to say it was because they were on the side of the mountain but the sink and tub and toilet all had good pressure. When the problem could not be resolved they offered to switch our room but when we said ok the room they took us to was a downgrade from our original room and it too also had issues with the bathroom including a musty smell to the room. Who wants to be downgraded after a complaint? We had a lovely deluxe room with a sea view the shower was the only problem, we had to use a water glass to shower coz the pressure on the shower is that weak the shower in the pool area had more pressure than the ones in the room. If you prefer views this might be a good place to stay but for us it just went downhill after the check in but if you do stay here make sure you book a deluxe room or villa if you booked a standard room you will have to deal with thr musty smell and dirty shower with no pressure so good luck.

This hotel is rated only a 3 star, I can't understand how. The view alone should give this place 5 stars. Rooms are very clean and quite old styled which makes it feel like a traditional Thai temple, stunning. Bed is slightly on the hard side although the view from the bed makes up for it. Food is good and the staff are pleasant. Note: Make sure and book the seaview room, dreamy.

This hotel I would say was one of the mid range hotels we stayed in whilst travelling. It’s not all out luxury where the rooms are concerned, but the hotel makes up for this with great food, drink and a beautiful view. The service we received here we cannot fault, everyone was helpful, friendly and always on hand. Dinner service is a lovely setting as you having the hotels view to look out over, and breakfast was always a great buffet choice each morning. I would recommend getting stuck into the hotels cocktail menu as we tried a fair few and they were all delicious. The main town area is a short taxi ride away and we had no trouble getting there and back each day. The guided tours were easy to arrange with the hotel and we were picked up promptly each day.

Checking in and was made to wait an hour for our room. Staff weren’t very helpful with any information. Told us to take a seat then wait......... no info about breakfast, pool, dinner, local area etc. WiFi is shocking and doesn’t connect. When we did get the room we were placed at the far end of the hotel with a room that had a view of bushes. This hotel is set high up and has amazing views from the front of the hotel over the bay. The hotel was dead so why we were placed here god knows!! There is three pools and no one around any, the sunrise deck was flooded to ankle level after a small shower. Foods not cheep and it’s very old fashioned decor. This hotel needs updating and refreshing. I usually used Hotels.com to book all accommodation when travelling but Booking.com had good reviews for this hotel. It did fail to tell me it was a Best western.....the ones we have in England are all rubbish so I’d have avoided booking if I’d have known. I wouldn’t return here again or recommend to anyone, there’s more hotels that are cheeper and better quality in the area that are better situated on the island...sorry.

L'hotel se trouve sur les hauteurs et commande des vues imprenables sur la cote est, depuis les piscines (il y en a trois), les chambres ou la terrasse du restaurants panoraiques. Le decor n'est pas neuf mais reste tres correcte, et a part ceci, tout est genial. Chambre spacieux avec grand balcon.

Vi hade tänkt stanna längre, men var tvugna att checka ut. Efter att vi blev serverade ett riktigt dåligt rödvin i restaurangen och klagade, så blev vi inte serverade något mer och betjänterna var synnerligen otrevliga. Det var nog en av dom sämsta upplevelser jag haft på någon semester.

Pleasant place to relax in a tranquil area, but need some renovation. Dirty water in the swimming pools.

Alles super! Nur zu empfehlen. Das beste Hotel, was wir in Thailand hatten. Wir hatten eine Hütte gebucht. Diese hat eine Glaswand, so dass man von überall Blick auf die Bucht/das Wasser hatte. Romantischer Strand und prima Pool.

Struttura molto bella esternamente, le piscine molto trascurate e le camere non pulite in modo appropriato. In 8 giorni di soggiorno il nostro lavandino e la vasca da bagno non sono mai stati puliti. Cambiavano gli asciugamani anche troppi spesso ma gli accappatoi mai sempre in 8 giorni
