Authentic mexican experience with a wonderful host family. Excellent value for private room with large private balcony. Easy to reach centre by bus or moto/taxi. Generous breakfast and generous hospitality

"Friendly, welcoming hostel in real Oaxaca"

The hosts couldn't have been more welcoming - generous and thoughtful, they showed us where to get tlayudas or tacos for dinner, locked our car in the compound for the night and got up early to make us coffee and breakfast before we left. There are communal areas to hang out in and it feels like you're in the real Oaxaca

it is quite far from the centre and off the tourist track - this obviously could also be an advantage

Big spacious room. Lovely view of the sunset from the bedroom. Seams to be a quiet, pleasant area.. Plenty of communal space for hanging out. Cynthia is such a nice host: friendly and helpful.

About 5km out of town. Well I suppose you wouldn't get the views if it wasn't. Not too bad once you figure out the buses and shared rickshaw.
