Terceira Mar Hotel

The hotel is in a great location and has many amenities (spa, pool, games room etc.), is close to restaurants, marina, shopping and cafes! The staff was great. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Parking is extra and charged by the hour, breakfast is extra if it is not included with your room. Lots of things to walk around and see, the location is amazing.

The view and grounds are stunningly beautiful with sunsets that amaze. I knew it was a bit of extra walking to the historic downtown and that was okay for my visit. The rooms are not only clean and tidy but also tired and worn. My main complaint was the shower with old clogged showerhead and varying temps. When I can't wash soap off easily and am wary of sudden hot and cold temps I get crabby. Breakfast was nice with high quality and wide choice. Special thanks to the front desk staff for helping me with a toothbrush. Very kind.

The common areas are dated as is the gym. It seemed like the gym was available to the public. It was difficult to discern which gym classes were available.

Loved the view and the parking on location. The breakfast was also great.

The indoor pool wasn’t available and we weren’t informed beforehand. It was the main reason for booking this hotel so we felt like we paid more than needed.
