Terceira Mar Hotel

Fantastic view from the balcony (see photo). We felt cosy inside while watching the stormy weather and sea. We really enjoyed the indoor swimming pool which is free for guests to use, beautiful, relaxing and clean. We chose the hotel for this amenity as it was poor weather outside. Breakfast was good with a variety of local delicacies and was suitable for vegetarians.

We couldn't use the swimming pool initially due to aqua-aerobics class going on which we weren't informed about. This meant changing clothes and coming back later but felt rushed to have a quick swim before they closed. Longer swimming pool opening hours (including swim before breakfast) would be ideal. Also wished we had been provided slippers as well as a bathrobe as we had wet shoes afterwards.

We really loved this hotel and had a great 3-day stay. Located right on the edge of the ocean, we had great sea views across the bay to Monte Brasil. It was only a short (and scenic!) 10-minute walk into the old city, the fort, and Monte Brasil. The free on-site parking lot was a bit crowded but we never actually had trouble finding a vacant spot to park. Our room was excellent – bright, clean and airy with great views over the bay. We had a nice balcony to enjoy the view and everything was very comfortable, really nice just sitting out there taking in the view. The breakfast buffet was amazing as well, especially with the nice sea views and the morning sun. One of the high points of the hotel was the very well-equipped gym. It is actually a commercial gym within the hotel that guests can use free of charge. It is totally complete with weights, cardio gear, box gym, and various classes. Really a great perk of staying in the hotel. We had a great stay and I’d definitely recommend this hotel to other travelers.

Funcionários simpáticos, disponíveis, os locais são de fácil acesso, bom para cadeira de rodas, os quartos grandes, espaçosos com varanda com cadeiras e uma pequena mesa, uma vista muito bonita, piscina exterior de boas dimensões, muito bem localizado, dá para ir a pé ao centro de Angra de Heroísmo (vários restaurantes, como tem vários mercados), como está perto de duas zonas balneares, o hotel tem restaurante (foi um serviço que não foi utilizado) piscina interior e ginásio.

não tenho nada para me queixar, apenas reparei que a limpeza, nos acabamentos foi um pouco rápida, tendo ficado uma cabeceira fora do lugar, como deixaram o seu cartão no local onde inserimos o nosso para ligar a luz, como as rolhas das garrafas ficaram em cima da mesa.

Serviço excelente e simpatia dos funcionários A nosso pedido, foi-nos concedido um desconto na 1a noite pois só chegamos na noite do 2o dia por não ter havido voos (nevoeiro) desde Ponta Delgada. Os nossos agradecimentos

Awesome views and amazing huge pool and pool area. Nice rooms. Parking free and easy at property

First room we were in had temperature control that would heat only. Fortunately they moved us to a room that would cool but our friends were told not possible (they got moved the next day). Why do hotels do this? Just leave heat and ac as an option. It’s a bit of a hike to downtown Angra over a small hill so probably not the best location if you don’t have a car or want to enjoy the town vibe
