Muir Woods Lodge

Lack of parking , lack of front desk staff. Bad internet. You get what you pay for but it is clean. I don’t have any more words to add!!!

The room was clean and well maintained. The bes was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and had the necessary toiletries and clean towels.

The TV wasn't working too well.

The room was packed with furniture that was blocking the bed and the mattress was disgusting under the sheets. There was a man smoking cigarettes downstairs while hanging out his room door. It's location is hard to get in and out if with traffic and a blind turn. The bed was squeaky and it only had one can light in the ceiling that worked.

Great staff super nice people. The room was super clean smelled good and it was super comfortable.

I didn’t dislike anything they are pretty on top of everything the only thing is the keys are super sensitive and it’s a constant struggle to keep them magnetized.

Good price, in and out quick, room was neat with fridge, microwave and coffee machine. They had shampoo and conditioner, soap, lotion, iron and board, hair dryer. Overall it's a good place to stay for a place to sleep for a night.

You can tell this facility is old and is probably in need of some TLC. It wasn't the cleanest, edges were peeling, or not caulked properly, toilet had some rust stain and I was hesitant to walk on the floor barefoot. Bed had a spot where a stray spring stuck out and the sheet had some staining. Hairdryer didn't work. There's a fancy coffee machine up front but it looks like it's not set up.

Location, it was very close to Sausalito. Price, for the zone, this is as less expensive as you get. Personnel was very attentive. Cleanliness was in general was good, although 1 or 2 days they did not make the bed.

The room was quite noisy because of nearby route and political protests from the morning to mid day (back rooms should be quieter). My soap dispenser got broke and was not replaced very quickly.

Very convenient location, right on busy Hiway 101 for easy access, a short drive away from Muir Woods National Preserve and Sausalito, and just over the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco. Our room was a reasonable size, but there was too much furniture in the room, which made it hard to move around the bed. Everything was clean. Towels were large and fluffy. Housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful. There is a self-service washer and dryer which costs $4 each to use. It was budget-friendly.

The property seems to have changed hands and is now past its prime, with grubby paintwork and a general air of shabiness. Maintenance is poor; one of the ceiling lights in our room was burnt out - no one was available to replace it on either of the 2 days we were there. The electrical outlets on the microwave did not work. The shower head did not deliver much water pressure, tho there was plenty of hot water. Wifi was notional at best: unstable and slow. Hiway 101 can be noisy, ask for a room at the back of the hotel. The younger member of reception staff was unfriendly, bordering on rude.
