The Inn at Weathersfield

My fiance and I came for our 5 year anniversary and we had the most lovely stay. Upon arrival we got a small tour and a little run down of how things worked around here. There was a little mishap in the rooms in the beginning, but it was an easy fix and everyone was so understanding. Entering our room we were greeted with strawberries and champagne (oh! And cookies!) Our room had a jacuzzi tub with a window so you could enjoy the fireplace and smart TV, along with a double headed shower and an extremely comfortable king bed. For dinner we went down to the restaurant where we were greeted by our waitress, who was so kind, and the food was incredible - we got the steak and salmon. To wrap up our experience, we headed down for the complementary breakfast that did not disappoint, with breakfast sandwiches made with fresh sourdough made daily, and the yummiest home fries ever. We will definitely be returning in the future!

Great place to visit the area. We arrived on a snowing day. We appreciated the warm hospitality and the warm and inviting public rooms and roaring fireplace. We had a great room and a big clawfoot tub. The yummy cookies on our arrival were extra great touch.

Beautiful place with warm touches and welcoming staff. They made it feel like an exclusive getaway with extras. The place is intimate which allows for an opportunity to really enjoy the space without feeling crowded

I Couldn’t say enough good things about this place. We were greeted by the owner. We were coming in late and they made sure we had a hot meal from this kitchen that closed an hour earlier. Great place to stay

The Inn at Weathersfield is quaint and lovely. The dinner was outstanding and the breakfast delicious. I would recommend the Veggie scrambled eggs for breakfast with sausage. The green dinner salad and bread pudding for desert were out of this world!

Fantastic place. Excellent food, but most importantly very friendly, attentive to your needs and professional people. We really enjoyed our stay. From the beginning over the phone Greta was the reason we selected this inn vs others we were choosing from. She was warm excited to share the information about the place. Then upon arrival Ivan was just as excited as well as Peter. All.amazing and warm Lastly Rachel who took care of us during breakfast. Really nice place. Loved it and returning to Vermont would definitely come back We had the Upper falls room which amazing a mini apartment without a kitchen, nice tub, living area and bedroom. All very nice! Thank you!

this was our 5th time to the Inn. We visited with some friends. Our room, was great and the hosts were too. Greta was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed time in front of the fireplace drinking tea. Dinner in the Hidden kitchen was fabulous as usual. We have gotten on the email list for when they start the wine dinners.

My husband and I spent a lovely weekend at the inn in mid-January. We were greeted warmly by one of the innkeepers, Peter, who told us about the history of the inn and helped my husband with the bags. He also explained the modern updates to the inn. We stayed in the Lincoln Room which is one of two 1st floor rooms because I have some vestibular issues and don't love staircases in older homes if I can avoid them. (The stairs are fine if you don't mind stairs.) The Lincoln Room is at the front of the house and was very quiet. We enjoyed a delicious dinner and two gourmet breakfasts, prepared exactly as requested (make sure you ask for some jam!). We have food intolerances/allergies and they were happy to work with those and offer options, including oat milk for coffee and a detailed discussion of how much lactose was in the dark-chocolate-covered-peanut butter-ganache dessert. (It was great!) The inn is welcoming, charming, warm, cozy, everything you would want a VT inn in to be. Special shout out to Greta, our server, who is a gem. Great service. My only minor quibble is that an email and voicemail in advance of our arrival were not answered until the third try. When I did connect with one of the innkeepers, he was very helpful and responsive. If you want to dine in the restaurant - it was booked on Saturday of our stay - I recommend making your dinner rez online thru the restaurant. When I arrived, I forgave all because it is clear that these folks are working very hard to create a wonderful experience for their guests. I would definitely return and recommend. A family member is headed there in February!

We spent New Years at the Inn. We come here often and this was the first time with the current owners. What a wonderful experience. They cannot do enough for you. The food was amazing and better than in the past. They have maintained the wonderful charm of the Inn and increased the hospitality. It is wonderful to see young and energetic innkeepers. We recommend the Inn to anyone who wants a wonderful experience. We are ready planning to go back.

My wife and I experienced a clean, comfortable room, excellent food, both dinner and breakfast as well as custom cocktails. Peter, one of the owners, welcomed us with a quick tour of the inn which was decorated nicely for the holidays. Idyllic Vermont inn is what we experienced with a welcoming family atmosphere. We will definitely return.
