The Inn at Weathersfield

Great inn run by a couple. The experience is customer service-oriented from start to finish. Everything is clean and comfortable, and even though the layout of the rooms relative to the dining area is a little quirky, it adds to the fun. We're already planning our next visit. Wonderful food, comfortable room, fantastic service.

The Inn is bright, airy, cozy and cheerful. Patrick, the manager couldn't have been more pleasant and accommodating. We were only there one night and had to leave before the breakfast hour began. The grounds looked lovely too!

This is a very difficult review to write. First of all, the staff is amazing. From Chef Micheal to the general staff, to the ownership, all persons gave the impression that you are a long lost friend returning home. Once they know of a preference, it is remembered and employed in future encounters. The wine and scotch lists are vast and impeccable. The food is fantastic (don't skip deserts). The free breakfast is mind blowing. The only issues we experienced were related to the room we occupied. It was the Windsor. We made our reservations the day before we arrived, and I expect it was the only room left. It is on the first floor and shared one wall with the dining room, one wall with the bar area, and one wall with the patio area. On the first night, there was live music in the dining room which could be heard very well in our bed. On both nights, the patio (heated by heaters and a constantly stoked fire pit) was enjoyed on both nights with laughter continuing until late into the night. The room had no place to charge phones and tablets (although the wifi was excellent) without moving furniture and laying them on the floor. I have a feeling that the other guest rooms were much more enjoyable. BTW, I also want to mention that there are free homemade cookies in your room every night (oatmeal raisin one night and chocolate chip the next) and you are sent away from breakfast with a bag of free donuts. I highly recommend this hotel for an adult get away.

While it was a quick one-night stay, I was greeted most welcomingly by the proprietor. Very pleasantly surprised with this beautiful, old inn. For someone who loves historic, this is the place. The breakfast next morning and the attention given both outstanding. A return visit here!

The inn keepers were more than accommodating with very early breakfasts to order and last minuet dunner reservations! Food was fabulous, accommodations were beyond what we were expecting. Can not wait to go back!

Nice place, good food and friendly owners.

This place is a hidden gem. Everyone was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious- this is an honest to goodness real bed and breakfast. Housemade maple sausage? Yes, please. And dinner? My husband literally states it was one of the best steaks he has ever had. If you like food, relaxation and a beautiful outdoor setting this is the place for you.
