Summer Stays at The University of Edinburgh

Vicino alla fermata bus (Commonwealth Pool) che porta in centro. Ottimo il ristorante self-service "all you can eat" aperto anche a pranzo e a cena. Colazione abbondante, sia dolce che salata. Staff cordiale.

Pulizia migliorabile. Mancanza di frigo in camera.

Wenn man darauf eingestellt ist, in einer Studentenunterkunft zu wohnen, ist das okay. Natürlich gibt es keine "Hotelstandards", aber das weiß man ja vorher. Für drei Tage fanden wir es super. Gute Lage, Frühstück war auch in Ordnung.

Schade, dass es keine Parkplätze gibt.

Das Frühstück war hervorragend - sehr große Auswahl und viel Angebot auch für Vegetarier*innen und Veganer*innen. Das Zimmer war überraschend groß mit eigenem Schreibtisch und Waschmuschel.

Die Wände waren sehr dünn, sodass man die Geräusche am Gang und in den Nachbarräumen hören konnte. Persönlich bin ich auch nicht so der Fan davon, dass Dusche und Klo in einem Raum sind.

Location was good, with bar and places to eat on site. Loved the university gardens. Comfortable room.

Although there was plenty of choice for breakfast, the ‘hot’ breakfast was a bit cold.

Great value for the location.

The bathrooms, shared by the whole floor, were not cleaned all weekend. Maybe the staff has low expectations because it was during the fringe festival, but this was gross. There are no basic supplies like tissue or soap in the rooms. If you have lots of luggage, remember, you will have to walk quite far to another building after checking in with a reception area. There is a huge line if you wait until 10:30 to check out.

Location. Easy 30 min walk into the city. Breakfast was great.

Rooms were noisy. You were woken by the lifts being used.
