Campanile Caen Est - Mondeville

Easy to find. Lots of parking. Extremely friendly, helpful staff. Air-conditioned rooms (in the unexpected heatwave!). Modern TV. Powerful shower. Shutter to keep light out at night. Very clean.

You could hear a lot from the other rooms, especially as we had an adjoining room with people we didn’t know, just the other side of a door. We were woken up regularly by talking, music, doors banging. There was also a dog barking somewhere in the building. Even though it was a quiet location, the hotel itself was noisy.

The place is purpose built and well designed as a compact economy hotel residence. I wasn't sure but felt that the rooms were soundproofed, as I didn't hear any other room noise. There was a small lounge near reception with a free coffee machine, which was a nice touch and restaurant and garden patio for drinks. It is located in a fairly new and pleasant neighbourhood of private residence and businesses, and access to the peripherique takes 2 minutes

L'accueil tardif du soir, l'emplacement, l'amabilité du personnel,la qualité du petit déjeuner même si nous aurions aimé y trouver un peu de tomates, de côncombre,salade ..pour û diabétique c'est plus apprécié que les viennoisries Nous y reviéndrons et le cônseillerons avec plaisir Ah j'allais oublié le petit mot de lou sur le miroir de la sdb qui a été très apprécié
