Easy street parking for the golf cart, which is ideal because nothing says “island life” like cruising around in a vehicle that tops out at the speed of a motivated jogger. The location is great—just south of downtown, close enough for convenience but far enough that you won’t accidentally get dragged into a karaoke night you never auditioned for. The property has vintage charm (the kind that’s clearly survived hurricanes, tourists, and at least three questionable paint trends). The room was genuinely nice and super clean, and daily housekeeping felt like a stealthy cleaning ninja slipping in to erase all evidence of your existence. There’s a pool. It’s not trying to be a resort pool — no waterfalls, no mood lighting, no staff offering anything with a tiny umbrella — but it’s clean and perfectly cool, and honestly that’s all you need. And the Belize Water Taxi? If you’re planning to “get your steps in,” prepare for disappointment — it’s barely a two‑minute walk. Even on your most “I need sunglasses indoors” kind of morning, you’ll make it just fine.

Checked in after hours, my arrival was confirmed, but the security guard was clearly on some mission of great importance… none of which involved handing me my key. After an unintentional round of hide‑and‑seek 😜, I finally just helped myself to it behind the desk.

Incredible place to stay in San Pedro! A peaceful oasis that made our vacation that much more enjoyable. Loved having the little kitchenette to make some of our own meals and the balcony for many a good post scuba nap in the afternoon. The grounds were beautifully kept and loved that we were right next to the ocean; enjoyed good sunsets and sunrises right on the pier. There is some construction happening nearby, but it didn’t particularly affect our experience. 10/10 would recommend and stay again.
