Inn on St Ann

Great stay

I'd love to say we were pleasantly surprised but not so much. Fairly sure we got the oldest room in the Inn with one of the mattresses being as old as the building itself (completely unusable). My niece planned to stay with us a few nights, which is why I booked a room with 2 queens, but there was no way anyone could sleep on one of the beds given it was completely sunken in and felt as though a 1000lb person had laid on it and broke every spring. She ended up having to stay with my daughter at her apartment close by on an air mattress, though it was probably more comfortable. The staff and the location were wonderful and must say the area is very quiet yet easily walkable to all must-dos in the French Quarter. I was so bummed since I'd stayed at Inn on St. Peter a few times, which is a sister property, and had good experiences but this was just not it. Regretting we gave it a try, especially since it was my husband's first time in NOLA. We made due and never requested to change rooms, just chalked it up to a lesson learned and made the best of it.

Very intimate and cozy but NO elevator. I fell and needed first aide… they had no first aide kit on site. The building is old so if you go during the summer, it will be hot!

It’s a cute, historic property within walking distance of all the famous sites and restaurants in the French Quarter. It was challenging to find street parking nearby.

Old but cool! It’s the right price

We have stayed at Inn on St Ann several times, and stayed in different rooms. This particular room #75 was clean and quiet, upstairs in the main building. And thank you to Nicole for her help when we checked in. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who loves the small historical hotels. The courtyard is peaceful to sit in. We will be back there in October🙂
