Inn on St Ann

Lovely and clean with comfortable beds. There are several restaurants within walking distance, so that was nice. Duane and Kellen at the front desk were both so friendly and helpful. But be sure and ask which floor your room is on. We failed to do that and had to walk up three flights. No big deal for younger legs.

I was pleasantly surprised at my stay. Previously I stayed at the French Quarter Inns at the Lamothe location, which was terrible. At Inn on St Ann, I booked two rooms. One for me, one for my son & his friend. Their room was in the main house, right off a very small courtyard. Most of their room was occupied by a giant fireplace, which was a bit awkward. They had one very small closet, and no dresser. The air conditioner was near the ceiling & luckily one of them is 6ft tall & could reach by standing on the bed. The bathroom was nice, no counter space or sink drawers The had to live out of their suitcases. Being in their 20s they werent really put off by that, but an older person might not be comfortable in this room. My room was across the street next to the Marie Laveau house. The courtyard was traditional, fountain & good seating. My room was on the first level, right off the courtyard. I had a closet, a dresser & my air conditioning was accessibl-ish, I had to stand on the cushioned stool. Same bathroom. Door was a little hard to close, but it wasn't annoying. I felt bad for having to shut it hard late at night. It was nice & quiet HOWEVER on my last night I got no sleep. It was then I discovered how incredibly thin the floors and walls are I must have gotten new people, they were dragging furniture back & forth, clacking around in heels& shoes, dropping stuff on the floor every 5 minutes & being intimate, didnt want to be included in that!

The hotel front desk staff was great and super friendly. The location was great and easily accessible to main tourist attractions. The room was clean but had a musty smell to it and the TV never really worked.

We had a fantastic time staying here. It's obviously an old building, but it had exactly the charm we wanted and it was a perfect vibe for New Orleans. I was worried due to the age of the building that there wouldn't be hot water, but we never ran out of hot water and it was such an amazing place to stay.

This hotel was the worst I literally checked in had to walk across the street and down an alley way to get to my room and literal drug addicts were outside in the terrace area, the area was shady it was just a horrible unsafe condition we checked right back out and spent money staying at another hotel it was that serious do NOT stay here

Everything one could want or need for a few days in NOLA.

Due to the mixed reviews everywhere, I was rather worried about my choice to spend one night at the Inn on St. Ann. My stay was great, hour, & I’d definitely stay again. My room was not ready when I checked in, so they offered to store my luggage. Also, because I had two large bags & my original room was in the back of the main building on the second floor, Kellen said he’d do his best to find a room on a lower floor for me. While I was out, he texted me to let me know that he’d indeed found a room on the ground floor for me & that it was ready whenever I got back to the hotel. He also said that he’d go ahead & have my bags put in that room with my permission. The room was #40 in the Marie Laveau Annex, across the street from the main building & right next to Marie Laveau’s former house. As promised, my bags had already been moved to my room. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, the toiletries in the bathroom were nice, everything was neat & clean, & the location was surprisingly quiet. There was a lovely courtyard in the back as well. The only cons for me were that there was no in-room safe or refrigerator & the room was a bit dark. The location was perfect for walking to Armstrong Park, Effervescence on Rampart, to Jackson Square & even to the Marigny. When I checked out the following morning, the woman at reception (unfortunately, I didn’t catch her name) had someone help me with my luggage, which they again stored for me until my flight later that day. When it was time to collect my luggage, Duane helped me move it to the front, where I was waiting for my taxi to the airport. He also offered me some bottled water. All in all, the staff was excellent, the hotel,was nice & I’d have no qualms about staying again,

Very convenient but in a quiet neighborhood. Lovely outdoor patio.

A Nice historic Inn in the French Quarter but a few blocks from the crowds and noise. Dwayne at the Front Desk was awesome !!! and you can park a few blocks away at the Basin St parking lot at the NOLA hospitality center for $10 over nite.
