I liked that the property was centrally located to where I needed to go. I also liked that you need your room key to enter the building. The shower water pressure and hot water temp were excellent!

I did not like that the room doors slam closed. You can hear doors slam inside your room from surrounding rooms near your room.

The staff on the front desk during the day were charming and helpful. Our room overlooked the lake with a balcony and was large and comfortable. The restaurants were a few minutes drive away. Plenty of free parking and and onsite laundry.

The young man on the desk at check in was apathetic and grumpy. Although the view was great we did overlook the main road which might be noisy if you had the balcony door open. The drive to get to Lake Tahoe was a bit scary (Scared of heights).

Location across lake, albeit noisy when balcony door open. Walking distance to shops marina restaurants. Prefer this location rather than the very commercial and crowded area few miles away in Nevada

The Hotel Azure was a very nice place across the street from Lake Tahoe. The room was clean and the people running the place were very helpful. I would stay there again, but next time I will book directly through the hotel. The booking agency is VERY dishonest! The advertised room rate was $204 per might, plus taxes. No extra junk fees were advertised. When I got my confirmation for two nights, they had charged my credit card for $757.00. I called the number provided on the reservation confirmation, and the person told me that because I complained she would give me a discount of 15%, bringing my total down to $651.00. I accepted that amount because we wanted to get away, but felt it was still too high. I have filed a complaint with the A.G.'s office. Bottom line, the place is nice, but watch the booking agency.
