OYO Hotel North Lima OH - Boardman

It’s ok for one night stay.clean bathroom and heater is good.

I reserved a room at 10:30 pm, arrived at 11:30 pm, 1 hour later. 11:30 is well within their checkin time. Open sign was lit and I walked into heated, tiny lobby. No one was behind the desk. I rand the doorbell for over 20 minutes and was on hold on the phone at the same time. No one ever came out to help me. Since it was in a snowstorm and now late, I went across the street and stayed at Quality Inn. Next morning I went back to OYO at approx 8:30 AM and the same thing. Sign on, lobby open, no one there. I had to continue on my way and after trip I see that they are trying to charge me as a no show. I never saw the inside of the rooms but from the outside it looks very run down. Of course I will not stay here in the future.

I made a reservation in a snowstorm at 10:30 pm. I arrive at 11:30 pm (within their check in time). Sign said open and tiny lobby was open. I go in and there was no one there. I rand the doorbell for 25 min while also calling them. No answer at all. Had to go across the street and book at Quality Inn. Checked out of Quality and back to OYO at 8:30 am. Still no one there and not answering any calls. Days later I find out they are trying to book me as a "no show" even thought they were the "no show". Since I booked under the non refundable for ANY REASON, even Travelocity is on OYO side. I never thought that no one being available and all the rooms being locked would count against me. Now I am avoiding any OYO place

Location, cleanliness.

Cold !! Concrete floors and walls. No insulation that I could see or sense. It was going down to the low 40’s, and the heating was off when I arrived. The room felt like a concrete meat locker and took well over 3 hours to heat up. The lighting was terrible. The room and bathroom was lit by only 4 low wattage light bulbs. I had to use my i_hone as a flashlight to see the room heater controls.

My husband and I arrived at 11:55 pm after driving 18 hours. Notified the property that we would arrive at 12:00 am approximately. The room we were given was a king bed, but not one I would recommend. The bathroom window was open, allowing insects to enter, with mold all around the trim. The renovation was a joke. We slept on top of the bed in our clothes. Woke at 6 am. Took a shower, water leaking from under the shower into the main room. We had booked from 10/10 to 10/13/24. The hours we stayed was the 10/10 night. Went to the office to return the key and ask for a refund due to the condition of the room. Was told I would have to contact hotels.com for a refund. Have yet to receive any refund!!! Would not recommend ever!!

Needed a place to stay with a clean room and clean bathroom. It wasn't fancy nor did I expect it to be but I got what I was looking for.

Upon arrival, I was denied my reservation. I was told I had to contact Expedia and was not assisted with a number although the man was right beside a computer. Expedia kept me on the telephone and in a chat room with no response. I was inconvenienced as I am out my money and had to drive around searching for other accommodations. I will NEVER book here or through Expedia ever again. I will also be spreading the word to everyone I know.

Threatened to kick us out at 10 pm because my girlfriend asked if they'd fix the TV. At 10 am they called to tell us to hurry up and leave so we went to the lobby to ask for our $50 deposit back we even took the trash out ourselves to try to guarantee our money back. Well Needless to say by 10:15 mind you check out is at 11 am he's already stormed out from behind the counter and called the cops on us so literally by 10:20 there in the parking lot mind you were did nothing wrong but the night before he was aloud to mother f my girlfriend and call her every name in the book over fixing the TV. So we said we'd leave if we got the deposit back cause we left the room in better shape than when we found it. Well he said he sent the money back to our card. Well he's so full of it it's not funny. What a class act those owners are.

Wifi wasn’t great, but otherwise a decent stay. Clean and quiet with friendly staff. Would stay again if I’m in the area.

Older property but inside rooms had been remodeled. Nothing fancy or new but clean and everything in working order. The outside is not very attractive but the staff is very helpful and friendly. Great value
