OYO Hotel North Lima OH - Boardman

The room is clean and is what you would expect for the price. No breakfast.

They cancelled my reservation without notice and I had to pay extra for an other room with two beds, wich I did not need. It is the forst time this has hapenned to me in over 50 reservation on Booking.

Great place , great rates , great staff. Don’t let the motel stereotypes fool you this is a great stay especially for blue collar working guys.

Extremly rude and unprofessional personnel especially guy from reception. I had an reservation on booking but he told me that it is already canceled and ask me to pay cash for new one, maybe he want to get it into his own pocket and hide this from owner. BEWARE

The facility itself was fine. Room was clean, relatively quiet. For the room rate I paid, I cannot complain. My only issue was with someone (not sure who, whether it was the hotel staff, OYO system staff or Expedia) canceled my reservation even though I said I would be late. As a result I was charged a cancelation fee, even though I was there when I said I would be. I got my money back, but there shouldn't have been a cancelation in the first place.

The gentleman at the front seat was very nice and pleasant.

It was very out dated. No cable tv. No dead bolt only a chain lock and the lock on the door knob. The bed was comfortable but every time one of us would move it would make a lot of noise. I guess that’s because the mattress was on a large sheet of metal. The bathroom window was very dirty. The little freezer needed to be defrosted there was no room to put anything in it.

Dirty, noisy, filthy bedspread, dingy, non-working bedside lamp etc etc

Manager is rude, told me i had no reservation when i did. Awful rooms straight from the 80's and reek of stale smoke. Bed is awful, room had threadbare carpet and blanketing.

There was nothing to like about this place. It was horrible. Worst experience ever.

Everything. Our room was given away, we were told we couldn't stay there, but we're charged anyway. While trying to find alternate location the employee screamed, cursed and verbally abused my wife and me.
