Arlington Inn

I was told that they only offered pastries, so we went out for breakfast elsewhere.

The light switch didn't seem to control any of the lights in the room. All lights had to be turned on at the source. Each lamp had to be turned on by a tiny twist knob.

It has a classic old world feel to it. It was right by harbor.

Its a very nice place right on the water. That was our room. Can watch all the boats go by.The lady at the desk was great. Only thing I noticed needed grab bars in shower, We enjoyed our stay both times we was there, We had same room. We really liked that room. Took pictures from our window. We sat out back on deck. Have nice tables,chairs,umbrellas. If was younger we would go again

Stayed at the Arlington Inn last weekend with my husband. We stayed in Pamela's Suite on the second floor of the Main House. The room was beautifully decorated and very clean with a private bathroom in the room. In the morning we enjoyed a complimentary buffet breakfast with eggs, bacon, toast, English muffins, mini bagels, muffins, granola, fresh fruit and much more. There is a tavern in the Main House that is open on Fridays & Saturdays from 4-9PM. Dave, the bartender, is a gem. He truly goes out of his way to make sure that all the patrons are enjoying themselves. The tavern is visited by the local residents which makes for a fun evening with great conversations. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. The staff and owner go out of their way to make sure that you have a wonderful stay.

This place is ok, but it is dated and definitely past its prime. It has the bare minimum basics that one would need for a hotel room. Visible stains on the carpets, moldy shower curtains, dirty tile grout in the bathrooms and the toilet is so close to the wall, it’s almost impossible to sit on it. The room does have a mini fridge and microwave. The tv channel selection is not good, so don’t expect to rely on tv entertainment while there. The included breakfast is hardly anything and very, very sparse. Coffee, individually wrapped muffins, danishes and cereal bars - more so snacks than an actual breakfast. It has more of a motel vibe than a hotel. Pros: the staff was very friendly and nice. There’s a large park and beach basically next to the hotel. There are a handful of restaurant choices within walking distance. Room price was decent.

The wallpaper was ripping off the wall, there was no storage in the bathroom for a family of four with two kids. The beds stated queens, but they felt more like fulls. There was one outlet and it had a 6-way connected to on one side of the room. At ac would kick on and off did not stay cool enough (also a window ac). We had a conjoining room without being told mind you I had a 5 year old who wanted to play with the locks.. we blocked that door off. Very sketchy. Lamps did not work. Light/fan in the bathroom was very loud. Super thin walls. We stayed in room 117 in the corner and we could hear everything. Cars going over the gravel. The bar music, everything. Even our neighbors conversations. We had a 2 month old who sleeps very good and he couldn’t even sleep due to the paper thing walls. There were bugs everywhere in the hotel (not pictured, we killed them before snapping pics) no bed bugs found.

It’s a place to stay. It was clean and the staff were friendly. Affordable and the view from the back patio is beautiful. It’s within walking distance of everything, which was nice. We’d stay here again!
