The location is very nice, green. Staff is friendly and helpful. Although facility and furniture in the room are outdated, it brings charm and vibe of previous times in a good way. Room is clean. Bed is good.

They charged me extra tax and service fees although taxes and fees vere included onto Booking.com price. The mistake was admitted after my persistent explanations. Hopefully the money will be reversed to my account shortly. The other downside is lack of sockets in the room. It is due to old design of the rooms. An extra extension cord might help to improve the situation

The rooms and its inside design. The breakfast was very small and they didn't let you take more if you wanted to from the buffet. The rooms were not good at all. old bathroom , bed, old freig.

Gorgeous Hotel, calm relaxing atmosphere, amazing sceneries of the golf field, beautiful classy design, beautiful library/ oak rooms, great 5 km walk in the forest.

Avoid! This hotel is falling apart from the severe lack of maintenance. It seems as though the owners are only interested in extracting profits and have neglected this grand hotel to ruins. Half of the lights in our room didn’t work. The light outside our room didn’t work so it was hard to see in the dark when going in and out. The kettle was broken. The TV plug was broken in half, exposing electrical wiring and it was dangerous to use so we didn’t. We reported this to reception on arrival but they just shrugged the shoulders and said ‘we know about this’. The bathroom door didn’t close. The water tank to the toilet took 5 minutes to refill so you have to remember not to use it immediately after another person. The mattress was very uncomfortable. It’s an open spring mattress with no padding on the top. You can feel the springs when laying in bed. The single glazing windows kept the weather out but not the noise. We heard children shouting from the pool most days. There is no air conditioning so be mindful when booking this in the summer, oh wait it’s Kenya so it’s always summer! Despite the list of restaurants and bars listed, therewere only two menus being used between all of them. They often ran out of things. One day they had none of the desserts on the menu. The service provided by the staff was wonderful but it does not make up for everything else. It’s difficult to understand how this hotel was allowed to be rated 5 star.

this is an exceptionally attractive place to stay for work or vacation. The scenic landscape and the greenery is calming and healing.

The rooms could benefit from a change of mattresses. I wasn’t able to sleep as well as I would have liked and I heard the same from two other colleagues who was there for the same program.
