"Nice grounds, big space for events and conferences. Needs some work to be considered a 5 or even 4 star hotel in my mind"

Loved the open space and short trail to run on. The breakfast was pretty good and gym nice. Some of the staff were super friendly. A friendly lady from customer care / guest relations came to speak with me after I expressed discontent about them charging for a lost key, she was very friendly and tried her best.

One of the two beds in my room had an awful mattress that poked my back, needed to switch beds. Thought quite tacky that they charge $5 for a lost key, lost it between gym and room I’m sure they will get it back. The front desk were not quite what I would consider friendly … the manager did not seem to care much the impression left by trying to extract any last dollar from guests. Shower could use some work, water spraying all over from shower head and not quite hot water. Food took forever at dinner and they gave us a dessert that even the waitress admitted was stale and definitely leftover from some buffet a day or two back.

Beautiful location. Attentive/ gracious staff Varied menu in 3 Restaurants.. Accessible golf, tennis, squash....gym and spa. Abundant wildlife to watch whilst having breakfast.

I loved the golf course. I played it and loved it. The grounds were gorgeous, including the 5k jogging/walking trail. The building is stately and harkens to an older construction date even though it was built in the 1990's! On the negative side, the food was just okay. We were served a "creme brulee" which was much closer to a flan. The rooms are in drastic need of updates.
