Lovely old house with nice facilities and good breakfast. Staff were very helpful. Would have been better if the pool was open longer. We didn’t get to use as it didn’t fit into our schedule.

I loved everything about our stay here. We had a beautiful, massive room, and even though it faced out over the entrance/car park, it was lovely and quiet. The pool area is gorgeous and we had a glorious day relaxing around it. The hotel was wonderfully relaxed about letting us enjoy the pool before our room was ready, and then again about letting us stay there for a bit after we had checked out. The breakfast was a sumptuous feast, and set in gorgeous high-ceilinged rooms. The evening meal was delicious, and again the setting was perfect, in a beautiful courtyard. We felt spoilt throughout our time there.

We were a family of three and the single bed was just a large sofa, not even a sofa bed, but my daughter did find it comfortable in the end and slept well.
