Blackbird Inn

The breakfast was extremely subpar. Gray scrambled eggs with wimpy bacon and a dried out muffin anda few strawberries and a few blue berries served on a plate in a tin pan with stretch wrap and a post it note with our room number on it. No other fresh fruit options. Orange juice with no other options. Regular coffee but no decaf. Can't tell you about the next 3 mornings because we ate at outside diners. If the owners of the B and B wanted to replicate a house from the 1800's, they did a great job. Poor lighting, dark and cold with outside bushes over grown hiding the patios. My wife and I have stayed at a lot of B and Bs in both the US and Europe --- Bla bird is the worst. NO CHARM AT ALL!

We had room with a Spa Tub - except it didn't work and no visible controls. No one to talk to since ce there was no one at the facility (I would call it a B and B, but it is just a restored home with rented rooms) The location is poor with a significant level of noise as it sits on the corner of 2 main streets; and the best area for restaurants is over a mile away. And the amazing thing is this property is apparently owned by the Four Sisters group which owns several high end B and Bs on the West Coast.

Wonderful breakfast and easy walking location to all that downtown offers.

Right next to two very busy roads, so you hear traffic all night long.

Location is good, walls are very thin and bathrooms are tiny. It’s not like a regular B&B. They precook breakfast and leave it on the counter for you with your room number on it, the only thing edible was the fresh fruit.

Noisy, horrible breakfast, expensive.

It felt very homey. The start was very friendly and made our anniversary special. The happy hour and breakfast was great as well.

It’s in a great location. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure the guest are taken care of. Rooms are very comfortable. It’s walking distance to many dining options.

I loved here. Nothing to complain.

Location was the best part

The pillows were extremely stiff, bed wasn’t very comfortable, breakfast was basically a continental breakfast and despite having texts showing that I asked for an 8:30 breakfast, they had the wrong time for me put down.
