Hotel Mainake

A really nice hotel with friendly staff. There was breakfast available as well as a lovely rooftop pool and sunbed area! The rooms were spacious and the bathrooms were a really good size too. Only 3mins walk from the beach and lots of restaurants nearby too!

Me a encantado , lo único que le falta es una poco reforma a la terraza que está un poco deteriorada , pero volveremos sin duda una estancia muy acogedora.

Nice hotel friendly staff, the property was clean and comfortable. Parking is on the road outside a little limited but it was possible to find parking close by. it is easy walking to most of the restaurants and the sea front. easy access to the main road networks. A hotel I would use again without hesitation.

Absolutely fantastic little gem of a place, just off the main strip, great location, no noise, very comfortable and clean, nice large rooms, with balconies, parking can be a challenge, when road is busy, but there is an overflow car park at end of road. Small pool on the roof, with sun loungers and umbrellas, perfect for a quick dip, very quiet, great views of whole town. Short walk from main high street, cafes, bars and restaurants, great food, reasonably priced. Beach is 5 minute walk. Taxi to Malaga airport is 70 Euros, perfect for weekend break.

Anybody who stayed at this hotel prior to lockdown will tell you it was a lovely small clean well managed hotel. Post Covid it has new owners who want to capitalise on the small conference facility and have re modelled the hotel into a cold business hotel. Brown, beige and white now dominate, the beds are rock hard, cheap laminate floors dominate all areas, we had a junior suite that offered no more than a bed in a larger than normal room, minimal furniture but strangely 2 TV’s within a couple of metres of each other and an old 3 seat sofa. Bland and uncomfortable we could take no more, we found a local Airbnb and checked out. This hotel is not a holiday hotel anymore.

Very good hotel close to shops, bars and restaurants. ( Cafeteria De Larios the hotel’s own bar is nice for a drink or snack ) Two minute walk to beach and five minutes from bus station. Nice room, good breakfast and very friendly staff. Would recommend and will return
