Casa Escondida Bed & Breakfast

Pleasant, peaceful, comfortable. Beautiful inside and out. Greatest by a friendly dog, visited by an affectionate cat in the patio. Comfortable living room well stocked with books. The only con was seasonal pesty mosquitoes. Perhaps fragrance plants wonts would help.

Great stay. The beds were very comfortable nice sheets. Breakfast was very good. We enjoyed a nice bottle of wine on the patio listening to the rain.

The room was cozy and cute but it was cold at night and the heater was so touchy we were either too hot or freezing. The breakfasts were ok with no frills or extras. Communication with the host was excellent.

Casa Escondida is a quaint B&B with warm hospitality and NM charm.

Very nicely appointed.

The stay was peaceful. Sunrise and Sunset was the definition of serenity. It had a very old feel but in this case everything added to the charm. Breakfast was good and the lady cooking was phenomenal. Beds are comfortable and good on the back. The outdoor space was great, the area itself is very calming, with relaxing views. Give this place a try, you will not regret it.

Everything was perfect

This property is in a rural village that has both artisan works (e.g. weavings) along with a proximity to the Sanctuary of Chimayo. There is an excellent restaurant nearby at Rancho Chimayo. Local artwork is on display at the property and they can guide you to nearby places of interest. They also have a ton of guide books that you can peruse over a homemade delicious breakfast. I have stayed there many times in the past with my dogs and my friends. It is a unique New Mexico experience that I highly recommend!

Very nice and quiet getaway. Highly recommend.

Arriving at Casa Escondida gave us the feeling of an authentic New Mexican experience, which is what we wanted. We enjoyed the scenery outside the building as well as the architecture and decor inside the building. The breakfast was delicious. The classical music created a relaxing environment. While a current newspaper and fireplace were available in the sitting room, there appreciably was no television with talking heads. Ernesto (the proprietor) makes a sincere attempt to become acquainted with his guests. Other staff members are equally personable. If given the opportunity, we would stay again.
