Casa Escondida Bed & Breakfast

This is a charming, traditional, New Mexican type of property. It’s a dry desert area, so you can’t expect a lot of beautiful foliage and landscaping, but the property itself is well cared for and remote and quiet. The staff is incredibly helpful, and the breakfast was wonderful. It was a very hot spell, and my room would not cool down below about 77°, but that was probably because of the type of room I had. Overall, it was very bearable, and very well worth the stay.

No TV. Could use a better breakfast.

The check-in process at Casa Escondida was about as hassle-free as they get. The property was quiet and serene, the staff polite and professional. The breakfast.. I mean don't even get me started. It was SO good. The only negative is that we only stayed for one night on the way to Albuquerque from Durango, definitely recommend. There arent fridges in the rooms and the wifi is spotty but the stay was thoroughly enjoyable

Bathroom tube dangerous for older people Risky getting in and out of.Staff was great and room was clean and comfy.

We had a lovely stay at Casa Escondida. Beautiful property and host Ernesto made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was wonderful. Would definitely return and stay longer!

Best idea--having a dark, Make-up washcloth. Glad to have specified cloths for wiping off shoes and the convenience of having everything labeled. Breakfast was always diverse and wonderful. Ernesto was so helpful with ideas and websites and directions.

Ernesto makes you feel very welcome. His cooking is wonderful. If you dont care about having TVs and very limited Internet its the place for you i loved it. Ernesto is very Knowledgeable about where to go and visit.

Breakfast was excellent. Host was warm, knowledgeable and kind. Rooms was homey and made a great base of operations for exploring Santa Fe, Taos and everything in between.
