Tanah Gajah, a Resort by Hadiprana

Our honeymoon at Tanah Gajah in Ubud was pure magic! Nestled among serene rice paddies and stunning, well-maintained gardens, it's a truly peaceful escape. Our villa was perfect: beautifully furnished, spotless, and fully equipped. The private pool was a delight, and the gate to the rice fields was a unique touch we loved. Evenings were made special by the outdoor bath. The restaurant setting is very romantic and food was absolutely amazing and delicious. What made our stay truly exceptional were the included benefits: a relaxing massage, an incredible hot air balloon experience, insightful rice paddy trekking, and daily afternoon tea and cocktail hour. The thoughtful evening turn-down and biscuits were also much appreciated. We even saw a captivating fire dance! The staff were simply incredible—so friendly and attentive, making us feel incredibly pampered. Ubud is about a 15-minute drive (traffic permitting!) and the resort's free daily transport made exploring easy.

Nous avons été très agréablement surpris de la beauté de cet hôtel. Un lieu paisible, de repos, de relaxation. L'ensemble du personnel était du grande gentillesse. Le jardin est d'une grande beauté. La piscine commune est grandiose. Les chambres sont biens équipés et les consommables sont gratuits, même les alcool. La nourriture est parfaite et le service est soigné.

It has a beautiful garden, very spacious and quiet (and that is really special so close to ubud centre).

2回目の滞在ですが、今回のヴィラは新しく出来たヴィラで、従来のものより広く、清潔で快適でした。

前回どうだったか忘れましたが、メインプールの水があまり綺麗ではありませんでした。その他不満な点はありません。

It’s not really luxury. Great bones but needs attention to details in both product and service. They also definitely need a new chef.

1st let me be honest. The photos and description online left me in doubt if I should book this place. But I have rarely seen a hotel get such high rating from so many reviews..so out of curiosity decided to take a chance and I am so glad I did. We stayed at one of the 2 bedroom villa with pool and it was amazing. The property grounds are beautifully layed out then found out the story that it started as a personal property of renowned architect.. it is one of the most serene and beautiful place we have evey stayed. The staff is very good and really took good care. Its close to Ubud downtown yet breaks away from the hustle bustle of the town. The amenities provided are beyond par. Would definitely recommed and revisit for a stay in the future.

Had an amazing (yet too short) stay at the resort with my family. Beautiful place, amazing staff, and very nice facilities. We had the opportunity to enjoy the views from the hot air balloon, which was memorable. Our only regret was that our stay wasn’t longer.
