I had a problem with bathroom sink got flooded from upstairs. Water got all over the carpet hallway and they did not even have me another day to stay or a discount

Location was safe/secluded from main streets. Clean, nice entrance. Clean rooms. TV worked properly/good. A/C working.

1) Check in process was an awful nightmare. Got my room canceled by staff due to "rooms not available" after I was told they will hold a specific room for me after they switched me to another room. I didnt check in the switched room because I was 1 hour early and the room Was "not ready". So I left my luggage there because I was told they will give me another room and it'll be ready later. I left to go on about my vacation. I was called by Stephanie hours later around 8PM to notify me that there was no rooms available at all for me and canceled my reservation. Needless to say I was an hour away at that time. So now I not only had to go back for my luggage, I had to look for another book to room for the night. I started to panic and started heading back to the hotel. Stephanie calls me once again to tell me someone had just canceled so they would give me the canceled room. By then my night was pretty much ruined.Simply unacceptable. 2) Shower handle in room malfunctioning. 3) Breakfast buffet staff not knowledgeable of hotel buffet policies. Was told I had to pay for breakfast before I told him we booked our room with breakfast included. Instead of the waiter knowing and telling me I had to go to the front desk for a voucher, I had to go myself and ask.

This was a great place to stay while visiting family. I had no significant complaints and forgot to mention our quibble(s) at checkout. They were a shower faucet that was hard to shut off completely. I just hate seeing the water waste. And I would still prefer to have a clock in the room and our room didn't have one. I have hip issues and thought the bed was nice and didn't make my situation worse. I liked having an upholstered chair, an office chair, and a bench/luggage rest as alternative seating options.
