Utopia Hostel

It’s good for night or two. Very well maintained and clean . The dormitory rooms are quite small. The communal space is quite comfortable. I was allowed to park my little foldable bike inside .I would recommend the place .

It would be nice to offer advance payments for foreign tourists via booking. Getting asked to transfer money to a Taiwanese bank account is not convenient.

Don't believe the review. It was the worst hostel in my trip in Taiwan. The boss working alone, hot tempered and never respect me. Never smile throughout my stay. No feeling of welcoming at all. Scolded me twice like wanna to hit me. I really feel my own safety during my staty here. The cat approaching me and staring me in the kitchen. I just making sound " shh". He accused me of using the knife to chase away the cat and scolded me like crazy. The cat jumping here and there at all common area. I checked out at 730am. He scolded terribly for making noise on climbing up n down the stairs. Because his bedroom is just beside the staircase. It was 7.30am. Not 4.30am If you expect soundless and peaceful sleep, then don't work here. Not all traveller can adjust their schedule according to your sleep. Don't pay money to let people humiliate you eve as a backpacker. He even cancelled my reservation on booking later to prevent from giving the review. Dishonest , hot tempered and never respect the guest.
