Stoney Creek Hotel La Crosse - Onalaska

Was told by the manager that he would make sure the next staff would be aware of our earlier conversation about me wanting the lower level room we had for our wedding. she had no idea of our conversation. Then told me there was not a suite on the lower level which was crazy because I know we stayed in it on our wedding night. Not great customer service and disappointed we were unable to get the lower level room.

Beautiful and the water and hot tub was hot. Dog friendly .the only downside was the breakfast was not very hot.

Our room was very clean. There were zippered mattress and pillow protectors which I appreciate very much. Cute decor although the toilet paper holder in the bathroom is unpractical (the roll kept falling off). Breakfast was decent with a lot of different things to chose from. Pre check in meant when we got there, we grabbed our keys at the front desk and went right to our room with no waiting to be checked in.

A lot of light coming through the blinds at night because instead of one big blind there were 3 separate ones (and no curtains). It is a very well lit area, so all the light made it hard to sleep. Also found the room's whirlpool to be difficult to get in and out of.

I was passing through, late at night. I was enroute to MN from IL. I was tired. I arrived around 1130pm. Check in staff was wonderful. Room was clean and comfortable!

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great. Location was excellent.
