Location superb - corner Dorp and Andringa Streets. Comfortable bed, adequate shower, good wifi. Staff friendly and helpful.

Restaurant food good but not exceptional. Restaurant decor very dated and rather unattractive.

Smack in the middle of Stellenbosch, availability of basement parking, good quality breakfast.

The hotel is fairly unassuming from the road so dont be put off, once you get into the courtyard you can appreciate its size and historical past. The rooms are fairly small but adequate for a few nights, ours had been recenty decorated so was very clean. The location is excellent and you can walk pretty much anywhere around the town. Super bonus is that it has underground parking and a lift to the hotel, it really makes all the difference after a days sight seeing in the district. The breakfast was excellent, I mean EXCELLENT so dont miss it, it will set you up for the day. The staff were all really friendly, helpful and made us feel at home - well done to the Team, a hotel is nothing without great staff and you certainly are that. Question is would I go back? Absolutely! its Great!
